ASTRO’s members and their closest acquaintances continue to pay their respects to Moonbin, who passed away on April 20. On April 25, Sanha and Cha Eun Woo visited the idol’s memorial space outside the Fantagio building, leaving heartfelt letters to their dear friend.
Sanha expressed his deep longing for Moonbin and promised to fulfill the promise he made to be happy, just like Moonbin told him to. Meanwhile, Cha Eun Woo’s letter was filled with regret and sorrow, as he reminisced about the ordinary and trivial things they used to do together. He also expressed his willingness to take care of everything that Moonbin left behind and to shoulder his responsibilities, assuring Moonbin not to worry too much.
Seventeen’s Mingyu also visited the memorial space and recalled the time when he talked with Moonbin until morning. Mingyu encouraged Moonbin to smile from now on and not to feel any more pain. He also promised to buy him fish cake soup and soju when they meet again.
The memorial space will remain open to the public until April 30, and all the artifacts left in honor of Moonbin will be collected for safekeeping by his agency afterward. The outpouring of love and support from those who knew him best is a testament to Moonbin’s impact on those around him and the deep sense of loss his passing has left behind.
