Night owls in Richmond won’t have to worry about catching the SkyTrain tonight.
According to an announcement from TransLink, the Capstan Station construction has been cancelled for the night.
This means that Canada Line service in Richmond will be operating at regular hours instead of ending early at 9:30 p.m.
However, single tracking will be in effect from 11 p.m. until end of service between Bridgeport and Richmond-Brighouse stations.
Canada Line service in Richmond was scheduled to end at 9:30 p.m. on weekdays for five weeks starting on Jan. 16, 2023. This is to allow crews to install escalators and station roofs safely at Capstan Station.
Regular service is expected to resume next Saturday, Feb. 18.
