Warner Bros has announced a multi-year licensing agreement with Canada’s streaming service, Crave, to broadcast its upcoming projects. This comes after the media giant had struck a deal with Reliance Jio Cinema in India, making headlines in the entertainment industry. The agreement between Warner Bros and Crave includes a host of ambitious projects like the highly anticipated Harry Potter TV series, Game Of Thrones spin-offs, and prequels, all of which will be available for streaming in Canada.
According to Karine Moses, the Senior Vice-President of Bell Media, which is the parent company of Crave, CTV, CTV.ca, and the CTV app, the partnership with Warner Bros is a landmark deal. The licensing agreement will extend the previous deal signed in 2019 and will allow Crave to broadcast all the upcoming ventures produced by Warner Bros, Discovery, and HBO, including the newly rebranded WBD streamer Max, which includes Colin Farrell starrer The Penguin, DC films, and series, and House Of The Dragon Season 2.
Apart from the upcoming projects, Crave is also streaming all the popular projects of Warner Bros, Discovery, HBO, and HBO Max, including Game of Thrones, Friends, The Big Bang Theory, True Detective, The Last Of Us, and many other projects. This partnership between Warner Bros and Crave has left film enthusiasts across Canada eagerly waiting to watch their favorite shows and movies on their screens.
