Kenneth Nolan Kirton, 56, is a declared dangerous offender and is considered a high risk to sexually offend, police say. He is currently bound by a long-term supervision order that requires him to stay at the halfway house.

Kirton signed out just after 4 p.m. on Friday afternoon and was reported missing the following morning when he didn’t return. Police are asking anyone who sees Kirton or knows of his whereabouts to call 911 immediately.

Kirton is described as being five-foot-six and 165 lbs with short black hair. He was last seen wearing a black, long-sleeve sweater, dark blue jeans, and black shoes. The Vancouver Police have confirmed that Kirton is wanted Canada-wide.

The news of Kirton’s escape has caused alarm in the community, as he is considered a high-risk offender. Vancouver police have issued a warning to residents to be on the lookout for Kirton and to call 911 if they see him. They have also urged anyone who may have information about Kirton’s whereabouts to contact the police immediately.

The search for Kirton continues, and Vancouver police have assured the public that they are doing everything possible to locate him. Police have advised residents to exercise caution and to avoid approaching Kirton if they see him, but to immediately call 911 and provide the police with any information they may have.
